Answer 1

The essay relating to Passing, Setting and Serving in Volleyball is given as follows.

What is the essay for this prompt?

Passing:

The most challenging aspect of mastering the passing skill was getting the right amount of power behind the ball. At first, I found myself either hitting the ball too hard, which would cause it to fly off in a random direction, or not hitting it hard enough, which would result in the ball falling short. It took some time to find the right balance and develop the muscle memory to consistently hit the ball with the correct amount of force. However, once I got the hang of it, I found passing to be a satisfying and fun skill to master.

Serving:

The most challenging aspect of serving was mastering the technique. It took me a while to get used to the motion of tossing the ball up with one hand and hitting it with the other. Initially, I struggled with getting the right trajectory and power behind the serve. However, with practice, I was able to get better at the technique, and I found serving to be an exciting part of the game. The easiest part of mastering this skill was learning the rules around serving, which are relatively straightforward.

Setting:

The most challenging aspect of mastering the setting skill was getting the timing right. At first, I found myself either setting the ball too late, which would result in it hitting the net, or too early, which would result in it flying off in a random direction. Also, I found it challenging to set the ball with accuracy and consistency. However, with practice, I was able to develop a better feel for the timing and positioning needed to set the ball correctly. The easiest part of mastering this skill was learning the different types of sets and when to use each one, as this was mainly a matter of memorization.

In third grade, my best friend Becky and I spent all of our free time making friendship bracelets for one another. We could spend hours lying together on our beds, weaving the colors as intricately as our tiny fingers could manage. Every color meant something: Red meant you were smart, white meant you were nice, blue meant you were brave, etc. I had an entire collection of bracelets. Honestly, it seemed like some of the girls in my class had hundreds or even thousands of bracelets. I kept mine in a special box and refused to leave the house without wearing at least three or four. But the summer after third grade, my family moved away. We moved to a bigger town, where kids did not know all of their friends since pre-K. They also did not know anything about friendship bracelets. On my first day of fourth grade, when I proudly displayed to the girls in my class a red-white-and-blue bracelet Becky had made me, they looked at me like I had two heads. These girls were into these crazy neon barrettes you bought at the mall, not bracelets you made yourself. I put my friendship bracelets in a box in one of my drawers and never dared showed them to anyone ever again.Even though I would never see Becky after I moved, I would look at my bracelets all the time, wishing my bed were back in my old room in Elm Ridge and that Becky were laying beside me, our tiny fingers weaving threads together for hours and hours. At the end of the story, the reader can tell that the narratorA.no longer enjoys making bracelets.B.misses being friends with Becky.C.forgets about living in Elm Ridge.D.thinks the bracelets are childish. compute the magnifying power of the microscope. explain why it is not easy to check this value experimentally. does it indicate an erect or inverted image? which value indicates this?
