What do you think of global warming? Welppp

Answers

It’s a very serious issue that is deeply affecting the world. It needs to be worked on and many people can contribute to helping get climate under control again.
Every year we see an increase in Global warming and it is causing the ice glaciers to melt and temperatures to rise due to the people or the natural environment. Global Warming has been a problem for the world for some time now and scientists and NASA are trying to figure out what is causing global warming to rise. Is it us that is causing it or is it natural, the earth has been changed but not by us but by the variations of sunlight. But do we play a part in this too? I will be talking about what global warming is and why it has gotten worse over the years.
What is global warming? It is an unusually rapid increase in Earth's average surface temperature over the years due to greenhouse gases released by people burning fossil fuels and due to the variations of sunlight. Everyone wants to know if it is us that is causing global warming to increase or is it natural?. Throughout our time the earth has warmed and cooled time and time again, the climate changed when the planet received more or less sunlight due to the orbit. Now recently it has changed due to another force and that is humanity. According to studies from NASA “Scientists have high confidence that global temperatures will continue to rise for decades to come, largely due to greenhouse gases produced by human activities”. If this continues to keep happening our future will turn out to be bad because the temperatures will continue to rise. Frost-free season and growing season will lengthen if we keep emitting greenhouse gases like we do and not only that but we could have more droughts and heat waves. Some places already get them bad enough and with this adding on, some states will not be able to produce crops and not have enough water and this may lead to people leaving the area because there would be nothing good there. In more studies we can see hurricanes become much more stronger and more intense due to the climate getting warmer. For years we have been seeing the arctic melt and ice glaciers melting due to the climate getting warmer every year. In which the

arctic will become ice free before long according to NASA and that will cause the sea levels to rise 1-8 feet by 2100. With hurricanes getting worse and worse by the years this can cause major flooding and can wipe out certain regions in the world. If we can stop emitting a lot of greenhouse gases every single year we can reduce global warming and not have to worry about the future of our world. But we can’t do this alone; it will take everyone to help reduce climate change.
Not all of this is to blame on humans, the earth has gone through a lot of change throughout history. Earth’s climate has changed due to natural causes not related to humans and it has mostly changed due to the variations of the sunlight. “Tiny wobbles in Earth’s orbit altered when and where sunlight falls on Earth’s surface. Variations in the Sun itself have alternately increased and decreased the amount of solar energy reaching Earth”. A lot of change has been due to the sun and from the amount of solar energy reaching earth. Not only that but volcanic eruptions have played a big part as well. The volcanic eruptions generate particles in the atmosphere that reflect sunlight that brightens earth and cools the climate. In an article NASA has said this about volcanic eruptions “Volcanic activity has also, in the deep past, increased greenhouse gases over millions of years, contributing to episodes of global warming.”. Also with volcanoes erupting it warms the air due to its explosion heating up the atmosphere and releasing almost 60 million tons of CO2 per year. So not all of the climate change is on us but we are responsible for making it worse and not us doing anything about it. It will take all of us as a whole to fix this and get everything back to the way it was originally. We can’t help with the volcanoes and with the sun most of this is natural but we keep making it worse. Day by day we are ruining our own planet and soon enough it will be too late to fix.

In conclusion climate change or global warming has been a thing of millions of years but in more recent years it has gotten worse. If we don’t do something pretty soon we won’t have a normal everyday life, we would be dealing with terrible storms and our oceans will rise and wipe out regions. But I know one day we will fix this and we won’t have to worry about what our future may become very soon. A lot of this has been us and we have been making it worse every year and if we can reduce carbon emissions everyday we will be alright.

Why is it critical to properly dispose of medical waste?

Safety in medical waste segregation and disposal is critical for front-line healthcare personnel. Waste segregation can assist in lowering the risk of damage or exposure. A used sharp (such as a needle or syringe) disposed away in a standard trash can, for example, might result in a needlestick injury.

Improper healthcare waste treatment and disposal raises substantial risks of secondary disease transmission owing to infectious agent exposure among garbage pickers, waste employees, health professionals, patients, and the population in general.

Appeals to a desire for safety and self-actualization are examples of
a. logical appeals
b. emotional appeals
c. credibility appeals
d. selective appeals
Please select the best answer from the choices provided
О А

Answers

Answer is : B emotional appeals

Emotional appeals are a common persuasive technique used in various forms of communication such as advertising, politics, and public speaking.

What does these appeal target at ?

These appeals target the emotions and feelings of the audience to influence their attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors. By tapping into the audience's emotions, emotional appeals can create a powerful connection between the message and the audience, making it more memorable and impactful.

One common emotional appeal is the appeal to safety. Safety is a basic human need, and appeals to this need can evoke emotions such as fear and concern. Advertisements for home security systems, for example, may appeal to the audience's fear of burglary and violence to persuade them to purchase the product.

Similarly, appeals to safety may be used in political campaigns to convince voters that a particular candidate or policy will keep them and their families safe.

Another emotional appeal is the appeal to self-actualization. Self-actualization is a higher-level need in Maslow's hierarchy of needs, representing the desire for personal growth, achievement, and fulfillment. Appeals to this need can evoke emotions such as inspiration and motivation.

Advertisements for fitness products, for example, may appeal to the audience's desire to improve themselves and achieve their goals. Similarly, appeals to self-actualization may be used in motivational speeches to inspire and motivate the audience to pursue their dreams and aspirations.

Overall, emotional appeals can be a powerful persuasive technique when used effectively. However, it is important to use them ethically and responsibly, as emotional appeals that manipulate or deceive the audience can be harmful and counterproductive.

When he was four years old, he listened to his mother play a popular piano tune called "The Rosary" and he cried, saying, "It was so pretty. So pretty." Not long after that, at the age of seven, he began to play piano himself. It seems that he knew he was going to go places. He told his next door neighbor, Mr. Pinn, "One of these days I'm going to be famous." How old do you think Duke Ellington was when he started writing music? At age 15, Ellington worked at a soda fountain and wrote his first song, "Soda Fountain Rag." By his late teens, he was making enough money to help his parents move into a better house. One of Ellington's first professional gigs was a party where he played so long that his hand bled. He earned 75 cents. "It was the most money I had ever seen," he said. "I rushed all the way home to my mother with it. But I could not touch a piano key for weeks . . . " What do you think was Ellington's next move? Ellington studied music during the ragtime era. Ragtime was a kind of popular American music consisting of off-beat dance rhythms that began with the honky-tonk pianists along the Mississippi and Missouri rivers. By the time he was 20, he and his friends formed a band that would be the foundation for his life's work. From 1923 to 1927, he and his band lived in New York City and made about 60 recordings. Their first big break came on December 4, 1927, at the opening night of what would turn out to be a long engagement at the Cotton Club in New York City's Harlem neighborhood. The Ellington Orchestra often broadcast live on radio from the Cotton Club, so their unique style of jazz became familiar to people across the country. My Son Duke I'll never forget that day as long as I live. Duke was just a little thing back then--hardly even four years old. I had spent all morning cleaning the house too busy to play with him, when Duke finally insisted I pay some attention to him. So I decided I'd play him a song. I sat down at our old piano, and I played the only tune I knew--"The Rosary." To my surprise, when I finished the song, Duke was crying. I had a four-year-old boy crying at my music saying it was "pretty. So pretty." That was the beginning. He began to play on my piano every chance he got, and by seven he was playing it better than me!How do these two accounts of an early event in Duke Ellington's life differ?A) The longer passage is primarily emotional, while the shorter passage simply presents the facts. B) The shorter passage is obviously positive toward Ellington, while the longer passage is primarily negative in tone.
